 ANNOTATION

This article is devoted to the main directions of the development of teaching the native language in modern general education, the humanization of the content of education based on the ideas of self-knowledge of the student's personality, his right to self-determination, the full use of his abilities and the satisfaction of educational requirements. Recognition of a person as the highest value, understanding the priority of his inner world, disclosure and provision of basic and creative activity, creation of suitable conditions for the disclosure of abilities, needs and opportunities, ensuring harmony with oneself and society, understanding the meaning of the humanization of pedagogical activity from primary school age, which is investigated by the author.
