 ANNOTATION

Art education allows students to understand the language of nature and art, educates their aesthetic attitude to objects, real events in the environment. The article explores the problem of teaching the basics of design and organizing a club to study the basics of design within the framework of the fine arts. The authors note that the profession of a designer has grown significantly and is in demand in the labor market over the past decades. High school students evaluate the educational process in terms of what the study of academic subjects will give them in the future. As a result, a strong connection is established between professional and academic interests. The article provides information on modern conditions for teaching fine arts in general education institutions, students' requirements for teaching the basics of design, analysis of industry-specific educational programs, the opinion of scientists on the study of design, the organization of the "Fundamentals of Design" circle, etc., presented and concluded from reliable sources.
