 ANNOTATION

The article analyzes the question of the place of Sheikh Kamol Khujandi in the curriculum of teaching Tajik literature in the course of literary reading and history of literature in secondary schools. It is emphasized that the study of the poet's gazels was included in the textbooks and methodological manuals of secondary educational institutions back in the 40s of the last century on the example of the analysis of the gazelles " "Yor guft, az gairi mo pushon nazar", "Oshubi jonі, shukhi jahonі", "Dust medorad dilam, jabru jafoi dustro", "Navbahoron zi gulat bui tu hush meoyad", "Dil muqimi kui jonon astu tan gаrib" , “Az tu yak soat judoi hush nameoyad maro”, “Jono, ba juz laboni tu obi hayot nest”.In chronological terms, the order of presentation of paragraphs devoted to the life and work of Kamol Khujandi is considered. It is noted that at the time teaching the creativity of Kamol Khujandi was considered obligatory and necessary for which, in accordance with the age characteristics of students, watches and samples of gazelles were allocated.
