ANNOTATION
Having attended the classes of colleagues, the authors of the article got acquainted with the state of professional training of foreign language teachers in secondary schools and universities. The results of analysis convincingly show that there is a number of problems in this direction, and many of them are related to the fact that teachers do not achieve positive results in their work, mainly due to the lack of proper professional competence, as well as difficulties with effective organization and conduct of classes in special disciplines.The authors relate the reason of the shortcomings in secondary schools with insufficient number of teaching hours of the subject "Foreign language". In this article, the authors offer their recommendations for eliminating the existing problems.
