 ANNOTATION

The article under consideration dwells on one of the main and important aspects of modern pedagogy and covers the study of components and methods for development of socio-legal activity of students. It is established that socio-legal activity is a means of ensuring the formation of legal consciousness and culture of the individual. The author substantiates his/her scientific conclusions by studying scientific and educational sources, legal acts and the results of sociological surveys and on this basis proposes a number of specific scientific innovations for implementation of students' socio-legal activity and further research in the relevant arena. The given article discusses the issue concerned with teaching law taking into account modern methods. Based on the experience of legislation developed countries the author identifies the foundations for the development of socio-legal activity of students under modern conditions. The article is a preliminary study of this topic, and its publication may help to identify some problems in the teaching of legal sciences and contribute to the formation of legal awareness and culture.
