 ANNOTATION

The given article dwells on written literature and folklore which are inextricably linked and their mutual influence as well. The article reveals the influence of folklore on the poems of the national poet of Uzbekistan Usmon Azim "Favorites" (in short) based on the poem "Non-dramatic ballads, or a carefree march". It is indicated that the poet, skillfully using the images of the characters of folk tales, through them expresses his thoughts, hopes and dreams. The studied material allows us to conclude that the images taken from folklore help the poet express hope in a vivid form in the fulfillment of a dream.
