ANNOTATION
The article dwells on one of the urgent topics being the relationship between theory and practice in journalism education. The author believes that today the research model of teaching prevails - a graduate knows a lot, but knows little. A reform of the educational context is needed, within which students will receive both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The reform can begin with a revision of the work programs of individual disciplines. The article talks about the subject "The History of Foreign Journalism".
