 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on usage of methods of enhancement of physics teaching resorting to local materials. It is shown that the use of local materials in the learning process facilitates understanding of physical phenomena by Tajik schoolchildren and increases its study attractiveness. It is underscored that organization of excursions to factories, enterprises, museums, etc. Being one of the most effective ways to enrich local materials and can serve as an occasion aimed at physical and mathematical knowledge development by students. The author divides the methods of local use into types and clarifies their content and significance in the development of students' skills and knowledge. As a result of the use of the realities of the country (local materials), names and numbers play a role in the minds of readers, increasing feeling patriotism and self-knowledge as well.
