 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on scientific and creative activities of one of the leading historians, Dr. of History, Professor Abdullojon Mirboboev in the field of protection and promotion of historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people (on the example of Northern Tajikistan). It is underscored that Abdullojon Mirboboev devoted his whole life to searching, researching, studying and preserving the valuable heritage, history and culture of our ancestors, especially Khujand and other historical places of Sughd region. The scope of scientific activity and research of A.Mirboboev is very wide, most of which is the history of antiquity, spiritual and material culture, folk traditions, customs and traditions of the people and cities of ancient Sughd and its environs.
