ANNOTATION

In his article the author speaks about resorting to mockery and hint and the degree of their application in “Akhlok-ul-ashrof” by Ubaid Zakani. In conformity with the author`s opinion one of the primary peculiarities of “Akhlok-ul-ashrof” by Ubaid Zakani being as a masterful usage of the former, which is specific to the second parts of the chapters of his literary productions, that is, to the parts through which social thoughts or Ubaid's didactic theory are compared. In spite of these parts are the second, it cannot be considered that they are of secondary importance in “Akhlok-ul-ashrof”, since the main weight of Ubaid`s critical and social thoughts is traced precisely in these parts of his literary productions. It is underscored that the main aim of the poet in creating a work, in essence, is not to praise the morality of his predecessors, which are depicted in the first parts of all chapters of the latter, but a critical look at his contemporaries and exposing their immorality and easy behavior in the person of the aristocracy , which is reflected in the second parts of the literary production. In a nutshell, the author of the article comes to the conclusion that Ubaid might not have cited them in the first part of his literary production, but since he was very dissatisfied with the prevailing morality, he hoped for morality, a semblance of morality of his great predecessors and wanted to see an example of this kind of mores in his immoral environmental epoch. But due to the lack of an example of such morals, it is taken for sharp criticism and a stern reproach for the immorality of his time. Ubaid`s criticism of the immorality of the era is not empty or unfounded, it is adorned with metonymy, allegory, ridicule and allusions in most cases.
