 ANNOTATION

From time immemorial, the Tajik people loved poetry and music, and used it at literary and moral meetings with high aesthetic pleasure. It is worth mentioning that Samanids created a good basis for achieving the highest level of artistic poetry, musical and singing crafts for younger generation. One of the greatest masters of Tajik classical poetry and music of Samanid period was the poet and thinker Abuabdullo Rudaki who with his beautiful voice and creation of pleasant melody, presented his poetic heritage to his fans. For this reason, researchers unanimously recognized that Abuabdullo Rudaki is the greatest figure in poetry and music of Samanid period. The author of the article draws attention to the higher musical talent of Rudaki by studying various melodies of the poet`s contemporaneity and points to their religious background with their investigative connection with music based on one of his ghazals (Bui juyei Muliyon... - Smell of Mulion Stream...)
