 ANNOTATION

The article under consideration dwells on the issue concerned with motivation while learning foreign language at lessons and methods of work targeted at the relevant streamline which is based on cultural dialogue - English and Tajik one. The author`s observation, as well as canvasses carried out in on the basis of the SEI “Khujand State University named after academician B. Gafurovshow that intercultural dialogue is considered to be as a powerful impetus aimed at students` motivation to study a foreign (English) language; it expands their horizons, opens up opportunities for them to communicate with other nations which is a means of mutual understanding, friendship and peace between nations, on the whole.
