ANNOTATION

The article provides information on the new floristic finds of green algae (Chlorophyta) in water bodies of Northern Tajikistan. Diversity of algae of this region have not been studied before. Totaly 31 species of green algae were found in this region, which belonging to 3 classes, 7 orders, 12 families and 17 genera. Scenedesmaceae, Hydrodictyaceae, Selenastraceae и Oocystaceae family and the Oocystis, Scenedesmus genera are dominant in species diversity.
