ANNOTATION

An alternative method is offered for the formation of a temperature gradient in LC layer by the effect of shear tension, at which the temperature is kept constant on one of the surfaces of the substrate, and complete thermal insulation is allowed on the other, opposite to the substrate. The proposed mechanism can be applied to the basis of nanosensors or nanomonitor, which converts mechanical energy into temperature gradients.
