ANNOTATION

The article deals with the development of tourist destinations as territories that have certain boundaries and satisfy the needs of a fairly wide range of tourists.The subject of the research is various types of tourism activities from the standpoint of their demand by the population and the ability to meet the needs of citizens in travel, recreation, knowledge of the world around them, etc.The purpose of the study is to identify the most promising directions for the development of the tourism business within the considered territorial entities.

As a result of the analysis, the article formulates scientific and practical recommendations for the development of destinations, which make it possible to increase the tourist attractiveness of the territories, as well as to use their tourist potential most fully and effectively.
