ANNOTATION

Last years all over the world it has been coming about processes,  that express deep concern of humanity. These are greenhouse gases, and the melting of glaciers, and the reduction in supplies of clean drinking water, and the notorious human factor, and other threats and challenges. Before each country, in order to improve the living conditions of the population and to ensure the ecological component of security, the profound social and economic transformations taking place must be associated with changes in the quantity and quality of the impact on the nature of the economic sector. Due to the fact that the activities of most economic entities of the Republic of Tajikistan are carried out in high mountains conditions, in a high-risk zone, a significant part of the territory is treated  to natural disasters that cause enormous damage to the agricultural sector, irrigation systems, transport infrastructure and communications of the republic and the health of the population, to the questions to ensure environmental safety, special requirements are imposed. The purpose of this article is to assess the environmental and economical situation in the Republic of Tajikistan and describe the main problems that negatively affect the environmental safety of the country.
