ANNOTATION

The article deals with scientific ideas of development of regional economic theory and problems of regional economic politics` formation. Here are revealed essence and peculiarities of economic space notion as a key notion of regional economy.   The author attempted to systematize and analyze main directions and ideas of economic space formation. The relation of economic space and economic process are shown as a basic factor of  economic space improvement.  Here is also mentioned periods of formation and development of economic space theory in the article. In conclusion the author presents his own deduction about adequate theoretical rationale of space economic regional theory.
