ANNOTATION

Numerous experiments have established that the external applied load is unevenly distributed over the interatomic bonds. Almost 80% of the bonds are under stress by the average applied, and 20% of the total are under stress by two orders of magnitude greater than the average applied to the sample and are broken first. As a result of the breaking of these bonds in the body, submicroscopic cracks are formed, which, when combined, lead to the appearance of macrocracks and the body disintegrates.
