ANNOTATION

This article is devoted to determining the forms and types of manifestation of import-substituting economic growth, taking into account the characteristics of the branches of material production of the Republic of Tajikistan. In the modern conditions of the Republic of Tajikistan, it has been proved that import substitution of the first level, partial and complex import substitution, are acceptable to ensure effective economic growth. In this context, the article indicates that predominantly extensive development is more acceptable for the development of the industrial sector, and predominantly intensive development is acceptable for agriculture. In this regard, from the point of view of scientific analysis, industrial-agrarian development with the use of import substitution elements is substantiated.
